Founder/Partner of the Archstone Companies.

With more than 25 years of successful experience in the film, television and entertainment related industries, Mr. Slifkin is a Founder and Partner of the Archstone Companies including:Archstone Distribution (World-Wide Sales and Distribution Company with over 150 title library), Tombstone Distribution (Genre Specific Distribution/Sales Company), Archstone North America (Domestic and Theatrical Distributor), Archstone UK (International Sales and Distribution Company), and Archstone Pictures (Content Production Company).

Michael’s background includes extensive experience in all areas of physical production, project financing, project acquisition, contract preparation and negotiations, budget preparation and supervision, project development/packaging, management and supervision, business management, and the development of numerous corporate strategic alliances and business ventures.

Prior history includes extensive work with numerous well known and respected individuals and organizations including: James Cameron, Gale Anne Hurd, Rob Reiner, Albert Band, Sandy Howard,  DeLaurentis Entertainment, Hemdale Film, Orion Pictures, 20th Century Fox, MGM/UA, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Columbia Tri-Star, Universal Pictures, Victory Pictures, Mega Communications, Warner Brothers, Grindstone, New Line and many others.

Mr. Slifkin’s recent completed feature film projects include:

“Big Kill” – Producer  – Western/Action – Currently in post production. Theatrical release Summer 2018. This epic western, action feature film is about a tenderfoot from Philadelphia, two misfit gamblers on the run and a deadly Preacher have a date with destiny in a boom-town gone bust called, Big Kill.  The west is reborn in this classic morality tale of good verses evil.  Filmed on locations throughout New Mexico including: Ghost Ranch, Los Golandrinos and Bonanza Creek Movie Ranch. Starring: Lou Diamond Philips, Jason Patric, Christoph Sanders, Scott Martin, Clint Hummel, KC Clyde, Elizabeth McLaughlin, Stephanie Beran, Danny Trejo, and Michael Pare.

“On Wings of Eagles” – Executive Producer – Epilog to “Chariots of Fire” Eric Liddell – China’s first gold medalist and one of Scotland’s greatest athletes – returns to war-torn China. Directed by: Stephen Shin; Starring; Joseph Fiennes.  Currently in Post Production.

 “The Shadow Within” – Executive Producer – Supernatural/Thriller – A private investigator must unravel the murder of her uncle while keeping the secret that she is a descendant from a line of werewolves.  Directed by: Tiago Mesquita; Starring: Lindsey Lohan, Charlotte Beckett.  Currently in Post Production.

“Don’t Kill It”  – Producer – Thriller/Horror/Comedy – An ancient demon is accidentally unleashed in a sparsely populated Mississippi town and the only hope of survival lies in the hands of a grizzled old demon hunter Jebediah Woodley and his reluctant partner FBI agent Evelyn Pierce.   Directed by: Mike Mendez  Starring: Dolph Lundgren and Kristina Klebe.  Currently released worldwide, and in North America through Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

“Awaken” – Producer – Action/Thriller.  A random group of people wake up on an Island where they are being hunted down in a sinister plot to harvest their organs.  Directed by Mark Atkins.  Starring: Edward Furlong, Daryl Hannah, Vinnie Jones, Jason London, Robert Davi, Michael Pare, David Keith, Daz Crawford, Michael Copon and Natalie Burn.  Has received multiple Awards for Best Film, Best Thriller, Grand Prize, and Talent Awards.

“P-51 Dragon Fighter” – Producer/Line Producer – Action/WWII.  Distributed by Archstone Distribution.  An action film about a hap-hazard group of P-51 Mustang pilots who battle General Romel’s command of the famed German 7th Panzer tank division and Hitler’s fanatical attempt to tame legendary dragons to fight his war.

“Battle Force” – Producer/Line Producer – Action/WWII.  Distributed by Archstone Distribution, Grindstone Entertainment Group and Lionsgate Home Entertainment, the film recouped the budget and realized a significant profit within six months from receipt of initial funding.

Mr. Slifkin is currently in development and pre-production on multiple projects with budgets ranging from $1.5M USD to over $15M USD.
